Questions AOLites should ask themselves

January 11, 2012

by Strong Volunteer

Harshal,

AOLite needs to ask following questions to themselves.

1. When all of us are decalring him as our strong Guru in public (Including Social Networking Sites), Why Guruji is not declaring the name of his guru once in a public ?
2. If my Guru is God, Do we really need to pay anything to learn from him in advance ?
3. If all the teachers are pure and working for Humanity why do they not organizing the course even though the targets are not met.
4. Why they are always ready for the fund raising events or marketing propoganda and why not for doing course with few participants.
5. Do we really need to pay anything for doing Volunteering work ?
6. We are the only one who are responsible for seva having new no. of courses to attract the people ?
7. Do we really need to ask foreigners to pay more money for all this courses e.g. TTC for Indian is 10,000 and for Foreigners 5000 US $ – Is it spirituality ? Do we seriously working for Humanity.
8. Do you really think all other courses except basic one is really needs to be so costly ?
9. If we are on a path on Moksha and Purity , dont you think so we should be transparent in all financial aspects of organization with all employees and teachers and volunteers ?
10. Why do we need to start the project which are only for fund raising ? Sumeru Reality and Sri Sri university ?

Its enough for now i think. Wake up guys. Don’t allow them to control your mind in any matter. If you think you donate or doing seva for the Courses and have magic then your mind becomes more and more weak and you start loosing your confidence.

This practices are only useful when Human Mind is unhappy or in stress.

Do you allow someone to earn from your unhappiness or stress ?

Wake Up Sid.

strong volunteer: I wish you had a strong mind.

I have one answer for your 10 questions. If you don’t like something, just move on. Why keep rambling about it? OR If you really think you want to make a change, you should ask these questions openly and talk to the concerned people teachers. Why here? On an anonymous blog of people with agendas? Either you are not serious and are here just for entertainment (just like I am) or you don’t have the balls(moral authority) to ask these questions.

If you really don’t like what Strong Volunteer says on the blog, Harshal, why don’t you move on instead of rambling on about it (pretending to be entertained, when you are very angry all the time and it’s truly obvious). It’s none of your business what people post here. If you don’t like it, go away. :-))) Jai Jai Jai Guru Dev!

SV — Your questions are excellent imo. Keep asking them, and encourage your friends who are being sucked down into the whirlpool of SSRS’s avarice to ask them as well. If people wake up to what is happening, they will walk away, eventually. Then maybe SSRS will go and do some sadhana, alone, and become the innocent, decent person he once was before he got a taste of the world and all it’s power and money.

Pls Just ask a single Question in TRM to Guruji.

And read Gita Man. – Earning money on the name of the spirituality is a big sin.

I hope by mistake you are not doing any sin for the society until u aware about it it might be late.

Earning money on the name of the spirituality is a big sin- ah…can you show me which verse of Gita says that?

Why is it not ok to earn money by selling spirituality? I think it is absolutely fine and should be encouraged. I think it is better than earning money by selling antidepressants.

We are not Rambling. I think every person and Organizations should learn something from the criticism we are here to raise our voice against bad. I still prefer SK is good for human being and Thankful to guruji for giving a us a gift. It does not mean that we need to sell everything on the name of spirituality.

6.He, who restraining the organs of action, sits revolving in the mind, thoughts regarding objects of senses, he, of deluded understanding, is called a hypocrite.

        9. The world is bound by actions other than those performed for the sake of Yajna; do thou therefore, O son of Kunti, perform action for Yajna alone, devoid of attachment

        12. “The Devas, cherished by Yajna, will give you desired-for objects.” So, he who enjoys objects given by the Devas without offering (in return) to them, is verily a thief.

        17. But the man who is devoted to the Self, and is satisfied with the Self, and content in the Self alone, he has no obligatory duty.

        18. He has no object in this world (to gain) by doing (an action), nor (does he incur any loss) by non-performance of action,—nor has he (need of) depending on any being for any object.

        19. Therefore, do thou always perform actions which are obligatory, without attachment;—by performing action without attachment, one attains to the highest.

        21. Whatsoever the superior person does, that is followed by others. What he demonstrates by action, that, people follow.

        25. As do the unwise, attached to work, act, so should the wise act, O descendant of Bharata, (but) without attachment, desirous of the guidance of the world.

        26. One should not unsettle the understanding of the ignorant, attached to action; the wise, (himself) steadily acting, should engage (the ignorant) in all work.

        – B Gita , The Way of Action

But one who has not mastered his passions, whose intellect -the guide to his sense-organs – is wild, and who is devoid of discrimination and renunciation – such a man taking up the monk’s triple staff for the sake of subsistence, is a destroyer of religion, and cheats the Gods, cheats himself, and Me who resides in his self. With his impurities unconsumed,he is deprived of both this life and the life to come.

      @Harshal,

IbN Warraq, Ayan Hirsi Ali and Wafa Sultan are apostates from islam. They didn’t like Islam and quit the fold of the faithful. Applying your logic shouldn’t they have simply moved on without making a fuss about their apostate status ?? There are many other Muslims who quit the ranks of the faithful and choose to remain quiet about it.

The thing with Ayan Hirsi Ali and Wafa Sultan is that we all know their names. They had the courage to stand up for what they thought was correct. There was no anonymous mud slinging. So you cannot compare yourself or this blog with them. The difference again -I would reiterate and stress is your lack of balls(moral authority) to stand up.

@Harshal, – In resposne to week mind.

I have a strong mind and have daring to oppose anything wrong in the world.

I am strong enough to earn money on my skills and capabilities no need to use the name of spirituality and any yoga techniques to earn money and making wealth.

Strong mind to read this criticism and learn from it and fight with my own self, people who are still not ready to visit this blog are still in that glamor world and have fear to fight with their inner self only may be they are worried about their glow in their face.

I have clear mind to donate the money to people who are in need to not to those who are utilizing money on investing in reality and university and making money out of them.

I have pure mind to find out and decide what is wrong and what is right for me and for the society.

I am not geedy to become a gr8 teacher / singer / volunteer who can close eyes with blind faith on all wrong doings in the organization.

I will never attracted now by any person with glow and nice speech / personality because i am believing only in the Good Karma done by them.

I am pure since i am not brainwashing any people for my own wish to make the things done by fake promises and speeches because i know god is still resides in me.

I am out of Glamor world.

What’s the problem here? AOL is a business. So many volunteers have quit their jobs to work full time in AOL, they need to get paid and support their families. The catholic church is a pretty profitable business, so are other organized religious groups, why not AOL? What do you expect the world to do? Governments get together to shut down AOL? Regulate it like public utilities? Declare them a terrorist organization?

Scam groups and companies have been around since time began. So have the good guys. It’s never black or white, it’s always shades of grey. If the whacko nutcase cult of scientology and their supreme nemesis overlord xenu can run a profitable (and legal) business, AOL is positively benign and nowhere close to the destructive potential of lord Travolta, Cruise or their minions.

I dont know about shri shri. but most gurus in kaliyuga are fake except for few.

Its rightly said in the Bhagwatam that, in kaliyuga, you will have such fake gurus, who (a) hoard wealth for their own security & pleasure (artha & kama), (b) the ashram willl be defined as of a kings palace that offer all the luxuries of life.

These were the same gurus who abondoned their family life to thread in the path of moksha. But now you see they have made so many guru bhai / guru behans / guru sons.

Who asked them to do welfare to society?. They themselves have not attained that state/level in spirituality, then how can they expect that their mantras (guru diksha) will even work.

We wrongly think that, if we walk out of our house, with no clue abt our wereabts, the entire family will suffer. They will go without food or money. Bull shit ! All events takes place as per the will & wish of Almighty. After a year if we come, we see that, things are much better compared to when we were at home. Infact we were the only problematic items of our family.

Similarly if wrong gurus will go out of action, the society will benefit.

I think Psychiatrist and some doctors are Pseudo-scientists. These Psychiatrists are bigger business men and women with billion dollar industry of medicines. Some people should search google for pseudo psychiatry in google and read before commenting.
I highly recommend videos in youtube on Anti-psychiatry. These people better know what they are doing. Manipulating words and renaming them for money only makes these doctors themselves psychiatric patients.

I would really like (request) you all to come in the day light revealing the real identity of yours and proofs of your stories/events you post here and on other similar blogs. I am a devotee of Guruji but not a teacher. I often stumble upon this blog when I search something related to Art of Living. Although it is really healthy to have criticism but the recent things posted here are things that amount to crime and fraud. Only an anonymous blog wouldn’t do any good to the society or people in general. If you are threatened by art of living, then you should go to Human Rights or such things- if they too are corrupt then there is no way. But it is really bad to have no one whom you can trust these days- especially in spirituality- as often people come to spirituality as a last resort and final answer to all their problems and questions.
Either your facts are biased, or you do not have enough evidences or courage or you are afraid of the consequences but the real aim of this blog which I think is to warn people of a cult and help them come out of it is not helping some genuine sincere seekers at all. This would be more powerful if it is backed by evidence and instead of being anonymous, it comes out on all TV news channels, news papers with pictures, footage, some solid proof. Then only this kind of fraud would stop. You only see, even after this blog, how many people could you stop from following SSRS. Even after getting doubts about him after reading your blogs, I still am drawn to him, his practices etc. And I am not a mad devotee either. I am a rational being who urges you to please come more clearer in future and your job should be removing any doubts about the fraud nature of this organization and its founder. But instead what you are achieving is only creating bad taste in people about this. If you are right, collect people together with such experiences, and the people who made accusations and start another movement like Anna Hazare ji’s. Start a movement against such misleading spirituality. If any of this is found right, I would be the first one to join but please back it with solid evidence. Otherwise, it really is sad how already weak faith is shattered every day and seekers are lost in dark. There is another way- has anyone among you found a better Guru or path or practice or do you also have some second suggestion about what to do for the people who leave art of living. They came into it because either they had troubles, or they had profound questions- what will now happen to those questions- do you advice where shall one seek those answers. Unless you can really help people out- just writing about someone or something is very self- sabotaging habit. May the force be with you.

For all of that I used to think, if something works for me, I will take it and choose according to my wish as I cannot control how bad the teachers are or how vigorous is the marketing. But now with new accusations of sex and all and the stuff about guruji and the boys in the ashram- I feel shattered. At the same time, I feel if it is the truth then it should come out in broad daylight. No one wants to be guided by a wrong guru. Please help. thanks.

      Please help. thanks.

      Dear Healer,
Really, what kind of help do you think people here can give you? You have to help yourself. Some have shared their experiences in aol here. Take it or leave it. In fact, I would say, *leave it*. Use your own judgement and think through what happens to you and others in AoL and conclude what you may.
At the time of experiencing all those incidents, i dont think anyone here was ‘collecting proof’ to later start a blog and provide it all to the likes of you.
Those of us who have had similar experiences, it helps to share and get validated by others. No one forced you to read or believe all that is said.
And why should i reveal my identity? Have left Aol and moved on, and certainly wouldn’t like my employer and friends to know i was part of a cult (yes, believe it or not, out in the real world, outside your aol circles, there are many who think its a cult)!
What is the guarantee that my name, address, aol post(s) etc, would convince you that my experiences were true?

    • Anonymous permalink

      Healer,

Having been severely persecuted by Art of Living and Guruji when I left the organization against his wishes, I would never reveal my identity. It would simply open me to more hurt and abuse from them/him. As it is, can’t you see on this blog that he is actually suing the blogmasters?? Did Jesus worry about people who didn’t like him? Did Krishna? Did Rama? No. A true spiritual leader wouldn’t need to sue to stop a blog like this. If your faith is so deep, I advise you to get very close to Guruji. Live with him initimately, then judge for yourself. I don’t mean attend the satsangs. I mean get really really close. See for yourself. That’s the only way you can be sure. Because nobody who has left under abuse, who is now in their right mind, would ever give their identity for those horrible people to have and use (again) against them! Why should I? Fortunately for me, my family knew already that I was in a cult for some time, and they welcomed me back. But many friends drifted away, and all my AOL “friends” were certainly evaporated, except those who saw what he was doing to me for what it was: persecution to protect his secrets, many of which I knew. This is often the case with close devotees who leave: They are first talked sweetly to to keep them around, then threatened, if they refuse to come back. It’s really sick. I’m sorry it’s ruined your feelings to some degree, but wouldn’t you rather know the truth? Would you rather wander around in the dark with this man?

Yes, I’ve personally met many great masters in India. Unfortunately, the two greatest whom I knew well have recently passed away. Both of them knew Guruji, and both thought he was “just a man with many Siddhis, some knowledge, who should have just married”. That was their take on him. One was the revered Bhadragiri Keshavadas. Another was the Great Tiruchi Swamigal. Another very great saint who comes to Bangalore once yearly, whom you can see briefly is Amritananda Mayi Devi (called “Ammachi”). But I never got to know her, as there are always masses around her. She did ask me, once, who was my guru, when I was with AOL, and I told her. She said “oh, the ‘so ham’ man” That was all. She just smiled.

See for yourself, healer. Above all, even if you find out what many at this blog found out — that AOL is crooked, that the master is not so great as you thought, don’t lose your faith in God. Just be hesitant to follow any man. It’s Kali Yuga and many Gurus will be there who are fakes, showing tremendous power and energy. Remember that always, and keep your faith safely with God.

The Pakistan trip is appreciable, so is the work in Iraq and Afghanistan, after all there is some good to AoL too. Not everything in AoL has to be bad . .. does it .. Oh its Aol so it must be some hidden agenda behind … no its not that at all , do you think SSRS thinks himself to be a villain .. No he does not .. He surely thinks of himself as a good person doing good to the world. He may have flaws but surely he is not completely flawed, infact no person on this planet is completely flawed. Everybody has some good in them, and everyone has flaws.. the major flaw in AoL is that they(aolites) think there are no flaws in Aol and SSRS.. if they correct that mentality I think AoL would be a truly great thing to have happened on this world . I am sure he maybe thinking that the Shakti drop actually works. He surely must be convinced about what he is doing. .
