To those who accuse this blog of being outright “negative”, doesn’t the fact that we’re giving free marketing to Art of Living show that we’re actually being quite positive here? 😉
What I really want to know is how does one acquire the ability to bless in the first place? And once they do, how are they then able to bless someone just by looking at an SMS, email, or name on a piece of paper? Please can someone in the know explain the science of blessing to me, if indeed there even is such a thing, I’m really intrigued by this now?

someone wants to be blessed, someone wants to bless. why do you have problem with that?
MY BLESSING TO YOU FOR GEETING SOME LIGHT AND SIGHT MY DEAR, I DONT THINK I NEED TO GO THROUGH THE STUPID BLESSER TRAINING PROCESS.
BLESSING IS VERY WELL WISH OF A PERSON FROM THE BOTTOM OF HEART, AN UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. TO HAVE THIS NO NEED TO HAVE A GURU OR BIG SADHANA. IN INDIA WE TAKE BLESSINGS FROM ELDER PEOPLE, WHICH MEANS THOS WHO HAVE CROSSED THE PLEASURE OF SENSES CAN MAKE IT MORE POWERUL.
MY MOTHERS BLESSING IS MOST IMPORTANT FOR ME RATHER THAN AN ACTING BLESSER OR A MASTER CAUGHT UP IN WORLDLY PLEASURES OF NAME, FAME, WEALTH AND POWER!
PLEASE NOTE: SENDING SMS IS ANOTHER WAY OF MAKING MONEY THROUGH SERVICE PROVIDER, NOT SURE AOL HAS WENT TO THAT STREAM TO MAKE MONEY :).

I think the issue here is not to trivialize blessings. It may lead to huge expectations and when they do not get fulfilled people are dejected, depressed.

Someone here is giving the evangelicals a run for their money. But to be fair have the evangelicals come out with an SMS scheme for giving blessings ?? Or did sri sri get this insight during his meditation ??

You really are a brainwashed idiot aren’t you? If you knew anything about blessings you would know that when you really bless someone you are giving of yourself, and so you lose a little each time you bless. But you have to have something to give in the first place, which you and everyone in Art of Living obviously don’t have a clue about.
What you are talking about and what Art of Living teaches is simply well-wishing, nothing more. When you wish something good to happen to someone, you are expressing a desire, but you aren’t giving of yourself. This is NOT the same as blessing them. And do really need to pay nearly a thousand dollars to learn how to wish someone well?
Speaking of which, this “Blessings Course” by Art of Living is just another one in an endless stream of scams the organization perpetrates in order to fleece money from its innocent devotees. It teaches you nothing about blessing at all. And why do they ask you to reveal your sexual fantasies to the group? What does that have to do with blessing people? Doesn’t this show that Art of Living is just a sick and twisted cult?
Please bless the blessings teacher Swami Pragyapad so that he can get over his heart disease sooner.

@ harshal, i think the same yardstick applies to you here too… since you are not convinced about what is going on at AOL, yet, you refuse to admit it as you are way too deep into it that, you are at a point of no return. However, you keep visiting in the name of “seeking entertainment” to find some solace from the way AOL has affected your life.
Oh well, may you find the truth and leave AOL on the path to getting your life back sooner and we would still be here to help you

You are so used to AOL (HHSSRS being the chief artist) not communicating with you, you seem surprised somebody actually does ?? is that why you keep popping in here ??

Why wouldn’t I talk to you? Is your self-esteem really that low? I suppose that’s why you’re in AOL.
Even today I still talk to my AOL friends, and even though they’re brainwashed, at least over the last year or so they’ve begun to see, for themselves, many of the same things which have been raised in this blog. You on the other hand are in complete denial of these things, even though deep down inside you know that there’s more than a grain of truth written in these pages.
You’ve accused this blog of defamation, yet you’ve provided nothing to support this. You continue to visit even though you said you would never return after you left a long time ago. You claim that you are here for entertainment even though you have already shown that you are extremely annoyed with many of the things that have been written here.
No Harshal, I will continue to talk to you, because I know as well as you do that there is a major conflict going on inside your head, and you’re very being here is your way of trying to reconcile this conflict. In time, I sincerely hope that you too will start to question the very same things that my AOL friends have already begun questioning, to see the many cracks in the organization and to make a more informed decision about AOL. Rather than just taking everything you are told on blind faith. Many have decided to stay in spite of these cracks, and they are doing whatever they can to work around them. You are just in plain denial that these things even exist.
I send SMS. I pay money for SMS. I state my problem. Its almost free.(Just the cost of an SMS). I give away my information for free. AOL has a prospect for their next course.
inspite of the cracks and politics and the inside rubbish thats going on im in aol why ? its a gr8 support system, ssrs is a great speaker and promoter of genuine social service and indian culture, there many genuine part time teachers who are doing good work , i dont fall for any crapii just do courses that i like and participate in tree planting and satsangs the traditional music is good plus its a gr8 form of spirituality frm the outside plus the org is changing itself…
If you don’t care that he’s abused people, some of them seriously, then that’s gr8 as you put it. Good for you. Get what you need and the Hell with everyone else.

Has anyone checked that the blessings can also be ordered online for free. But why does someone need to mention which all AOL courses has one done. Brilliant idea of collecting mail ids and cell numbers so that mailers/sms can be sent for joining an AOL course. Check out this form below.

Paramtej (Pankaj) sucks as a blesser and badly needs a shave. He talks through his ass and having his picture on this brochure simply highlights the ineffectiveness of this venture especially with him at the helm. He needs all the blessings that he can get that f###ing dirty marwadi bastard!!! Else get a blessing from the frustrated and extremely snobbish and rude Pragyapad (Prashant) who will only fly first class and yet pose as a saintly simple man.. bullshit!!! It is time to crack open this can of worms and get them all down to their knees. A lot more insight is on the way and I hope AOLites can handle what I am going to dish out.
