“Learn to listen what the other person is saying not what is convenient.
Integrity of our relationships will be much stronger if we learned how to listen and communicate sincerely.”

    – if they only follow what they preach… No need for this or any other website.

    HAHAHAAHA!!!!
V nicely decorated and also fabricated course Rules (I frankly could not read past it because almost everything is so highly sensationalized by you).
No one says you cannot come back for other course, yes if you miss a class you have to repeat the course.
Moreover, once you have completed the course you can repeat the course anywhere with any teacher free of cost! Thus u get to meet so many new ppl! And all of them are stress free by just the 3rd day so it’s great pure company to be in.
Plus one gets to do seva for others, spread smiles…rather than fabricating a looong lopsided rant helping really no one..
The programe is amazing…must do for everyone!! 🙂
    Lighten up bro…

“Nicely decorated and also fabricated course Rules” ?? I promise you, this is original teacher’s notes, I just removed some names out of courtesy to the people involved. This is the real stuff, as it is taught.

As to repeating courses for free, look at other comments on the blog from people who had been promised just that, and ended up paying the full (for westerners, in $) amount -even after travelling to India.

I guess you have to learn the hard way. That’s cool.

Let me tell one more incident about “free repeat” propaganda.

In my AOL days, I used to let out my house for AOL courses. I had organized one course at my place in Mumbai and given publicity in my housing society. One day before the start of course, one gentleman from Raipur (a small town in Maharashtra) came to enquire about it. Course teacher was present there. She asked him a few questions and realized that this person had done his basic course in Raipur and while in Mumbai wanted to repeat the course. Course teacher told him that the publicized course was cancelled, so he should not come for repeating the course. I was shocked to hear this. However, I was so intoxicated by AOL that I did not say anything. After the person left, I asked the teacher why she said that the course was cancelled even though it was on. She replied that these people do their basic course in some small towns where fees is low and then they come in big cities where fees is substantially higher and repeat the course with us for free!

Today it seems incomprehensible to me how even after seeing such blatant dishonesty in AOL, I still continued with them for quite some time.

Well in that case it was the particular teacher’s fault….but it does go to show how spiritual “teachers” are.

Don’t believe one particular teacher’s fault, it is just the culture in AOL taught her to act like that. You do what you are taught or expected of (as teacher).

well and they should also tell that it is valid only in india….i did a basic course in india…and wanted to repeat (for free) in europe..i was told that was not possible. I understand in europe money (and a persons time) are different (almost no one gives you time for free, unlike in india). but AOL should make it clear. although this is not something big, but they should not hide such small infos (deliberately?).

hehe…i had the yesplus course once..it was fun…but again was a bit expensive….
and someof the course content (SK) are common to most (or all, I dont know) courses. but the money is not discounted for repiting those.
btw you can meet some people of your age (assuming you are young) and some girls too ;-)…one reason to spend at least …

i m badly surprised to hear this. The guru (or whoever manages them), seems to have convinced them that that such passive exploitation is a good karma.

I just visited the artooflivingfreefree blog just the first page where someone justifies the cost for course.
i couldt comment there..because i need to give some kind of url id.
but i guess some people in AOL read this here..and think upon it.
in todays money-driven world, thers nothing wrong (unfortunately in some cases) in charging money for any service that may or maynot bring benifit to the customer. it is called business. and should be presented and handled like a business, e.g pay proper taxes, and DONT use words like charity, god etc. to do your business. well many people do that..and i dont see ravihshanker much different from those businessmen…perhaps hes only worse…he takes (or wants to take) your money AND mind.

I’ve done a lot of free repeat courses… you really don’t know what you are talking about. Why so much angry? Why do use your time to do this crap? You are not consistent, you are not speaking the true, you ar enot showing a point of view. A have complains with AOL, I would love to listen to other opinions, but you make a bad job doing this here, just saying stupid things… what a shame.

though i don’t like giving explanations but have u ever considered why every pupil studying in the same class from same teacher hasn’t got same values.Master gives same knowledge to everyone but how you apply it depends upon your interpretation which is affected by so many factors like your sanskaras & your surroundings.and dear u cannot do charity with an empty bowl or else u can try…………
