AOL vs. Does: The Lawsuit

It started with this notice from the Indian AOL. Later, AOL in USA filed an official complaint, and subpoenaed Google and WordPress to reveal our identities, in order for them to prosecute us for defamation, copyright breaches, trade libel and for revealing ”trade secrets”.

Following are the highlights of the case:

Here is the Court’s decision in June 2011 in which she threw out the Defamation and Trade Libel claims, but kept the Trade Secret claims. As well there are the Motions to Dismiss and Strike and the Oppositions and Replies to each, that preceded that Court decision.

Spiritual Group’s Attempt to Unmask Online Critics Goes South–Art of Living Foundation v. Does

        December 01, 2011

        Art of Living Foundation v. Does, 10-cv-05022-LHK (N.D. Ca.; Nov. 9, 2011)

Art of Living Foundation is an organization based in India that is dedicated to teaching the spiritual lessons of “His Holiness Ravi Shankar.” Defendants are disgruntled former “student-teachers and students” of plaintiff who want to bring to light their view that AOLF is a “manipulative and abusive cult.” Defendants posted blogs under the pseudonyms “Skywalker” and “Klim.”

AOLF sued, alleging various claims including defamation, misappropriation of trade secrets, copyright infringement and trade libel. AOLF also alleged that defendants published AOLF’s copyrighted “Breathe Sound Water Manual.” AOLF sought leave to conduct expedited discovery. This request was approved and AOLF issued subpoenas to Google and Automattic. Before Google and Auttomatic complied with the subpoenas, defendants appeared through counsel and moved to dismiss AOLF’s defamation claim, strike its trade secrets claim, and also moved to quash the discovery. Skywalker acknowledged that he published the manual, but said that he posted this solely as part of his larger campaign to bring awareness to his views about AOLF.

While the motion to quash was pending, the court granted defendants’ request to dismiss the defamation claim, and struck the trade secrets claim. AOLF filed an amended complaint limiting its claims to copyright infringement and misappropriation of trade secrets. Magistrate Judge Beller granted the motion to quash as to Klim but denied it as to Skywalker, relying largely on the fact that a prima facie claim of copyright infringement is sufficient to overcome the right to anonymity. Judge Koh, reviewing Magistrate Judge Beller’s order, finds that AOLF failed to overcome Skywalker’s right to remain anonymous and quashes the subpoena as to Skywalker.

In a characteristically excellent order, Judge Koh canvasses the various standards courts apply in resolving anonymity issues. Some courts have required plaintiffs to make a prima facie showing before ordering disclosure, while others have demanded admissible evidence establishing each element of a claim. The Ninth Circuit recently held that in resolving the disclosure issue, courts should keep in mind the nature of the speech (e.g., purely commercial versus purely political) as well as the potential chilling effect of ordering disclosure (In re Anynomous Online Speakers). Finally, and most troubling for the defendants, a widely cited 2004 decision from the Southern District of New York found that a prima facie allegation of copyright infringement entitles the plaintiff to identify doe defendants (Sony Music v. Does).

Defendant raised a fair use argument, but the court does not rely on the possibility of non-infringement in resolving the disclosure issue. The court notes that “evidence of copyright infringement does not automatically remove the speech at issue from the scope of the First Amendment.”

The court employs a balancing test where it weighs the harm to plaintiff and defendants. Disclosure of Skywalker’s identity would have a chilling effect on other bloggers, and this weighed heavily in favor of defendants. With respect to harm to the plaintiff from quashing the subpoena, the court finds that AOLF would not suffer a comparable harm. AOLF could proceed in the litigation without knowing Skywalker’s identity—Skywalker had responded to written discovery, and if necessary, AOLF’s counsel could even conduct a deposition via telephone (or alternatively, Skywalker’s identity could be revealed on an attorneys’ eyes only basis). Ultimately, AOLF was unable to make a compelling argument that it needed to discover Skywalker’s identity at this point in the litigation. It raised a weak argument that it needed to find out the revenues generated from Skywalker’s blog but the court notes that this information could be gleaned through other sources, such as Google and Automattic.

This is a nuanced result. The court recognizes that the copyright claim is not particularly strong and there is a good chance, this is the end of the road for Art of Living Foundation. The earlier dismissal of its defamation claim (and accompanying liability for attorney’s fees) is a serious blow, but the court’s rejection of its request to unmask Skywalker deprives AOLF of what it was looking to get out of this lawsuit–early identification of a pseudonymous blogger. On the merits of his copyright claim, Skywalker may win on his claim for fair use or successfully argue that the damages are minimal at best. (See generally, the Righthaven debacle.)
The overall takeaway is that if you as a blogger face a claim for garden-variety copyright infringement, this type of a ruling shouldn’t give you much hope. Courts will readily cite to Sony Music v. Does and order compliance with a subpoena seeking your identification. If, on the other hand, a plaintiff is using a weak copyright claim to get at you for bad-mouthing the plaintiff, a court may see it for what it is, and deny the requested discovery. Of course, this depends on your luck of the draw and requires you to be in front of a thoughtful judge and have good representation. (The ACLU, EFF, and Public Citizen weighed in as amici, which didn’t hurt.) It also requires that service providers don’t jump the gun when responding to subpoenas seeking identification. I’m sure on a daily basis, numerous posters and bloggers are unmasked because the circumstances are different from those in this case. Additionally, “garden-variety” copyright infringement unmaskings never get to court at all; service providers routinely make disclosures under section 512(h) without the alleged infringer even knowing it.

Doe Defendant, specially appearing under the pseudonym “Skywalker,” moves for relief from Magistrate Judge Lloyd’s order denying his motion to quash a subpoena intended to discover his identity from third-party Internet Service Providers. Having considered the parties’ briefing and oral arguments, the Court finds that Skywalker’s First Amendment right to anonymous speech outweighs the need for discovery at this time. Accordingly, the motion for relief is GRANTED.

Thank you for posting this result. I have supported this blog and was interested to know the outcome. It’s important that people have the right to share their true experiences here without the real fear that Art of Living will be acquiring their identity and then start harrassing them on the phone, by e-mail or even at their homes (yes that has happened when people have left AOL and have made Ravi Shankar angry). Does this result mean that in addition to not having the siddhis he claims to possess (or he could have simply KNOWN the identities of the blogmasters) that he also has attorneys who don’t know the law? Hmmmmmm.

I’m really happy for the blogmasters that they will not have to go through the visits and threats from AOL that I went through when I left, realizing that too much was really very wrong with SSRS and his organization for me to stay on.

Now people can continue to post without fear.

No. If someone purports to have a certain degree from a college or university it is a matter of public record. If the proof of the degree cannot be produced by the university or college records, there is no degree. Degrees are not hidden. It is up to those who say they have a degree to give the proof. Harshal, the only one without a life seems to be you. The only zombie seems to be you. A zombie cannot think for himself. You should try to do that. It can be both freeing and refreshing. AoL is a sad, sad organization built on smoke and mirrors. Your comments, dear Harshal, indicate your level of being trapped by illusion.

If a person has publicly lied about his degree he is a fraud. There is no record of Ravishankar’s degree from SJ college of science and commerce where he studied till he was seventeen. This lie about his fake education is clearly mentioned in several of his books and website. There is no such course as ‘advanced degree in physics’ in st Josephs college. There is a Bachelor of science course where they study physics as one of the subjects among others. Masters degree in st josehp’s was started only in the 90s when Ravi had already started his holy business of stealing charity money. This degree is just one of his lies. This blog has clearly exposed his other lies – NPP aspirations, fake propoganda about brining peace in kashmir and sri lanka, Sudarshan kriya bad side effects, dollar a day robbery program and many others. You and your guru stand exposed. Only thing left now for you chelas now is to hurl abuses at these energetic people who have exposed your lies and fraud. Don’t talk crap about negative prana. A person with positive prana should not lie or condone lies.

It is only when you go very deep over a period in the organization, you know the negative side of AOL. All internal group in terms of North Indian South India, Caste etc. are very much there in the groups too. Now you’re just being plain nasty and making things up! We aren’t crapping over anyone who has remote praise for AOL or who has had good experiences. How on Earth did you arrive at this conclusion exactly?! And in what way are we being hypocrites?

Part of another problem we’ve noticed is that those who are pro-AoL label those contributing on these blogs simply as “anti-AoL”, and if one contributor says something you don’t agree with, then suddenly we’re all responsible for it!! This is the same black and white thinking I mentioned in my previous response to you. If you want to, address a specific contributor, but please don’t paint everyone with the same brush or even assume we all share the same point of view.

And I’m happy that you and other people have had good experiences with AoL, as most people here have done, but this isn’t at issue here nor has it ever been an issue.

From the things you’ve written here, I think you’ve come to your own conclusions about what these blogs are about, just like others from AoL, and you’ve actually chosen to ignore a great many of the core issues we’ve been writing about.

“No, you guys are just hypocrites. You crap all over everyone who has even remote praise for AOL and then when someone uses the same extreme tactics on your sorry asses you cry like babies. ”

Talking of hypocrisy why don’t you appreciate that your comment has been published here? Try to post even a mildly critical comment of AOL on any of pro-AOL sites and you will understand the meaning of hypocrisy.

I do appreciate that my pro comments and insults have been published here. And Doctor, perhaps I do paint with too broad a brush. Some of you guys actually do post good-intentioned, discriminating critiques of AOL. But then you have this very loopy crowd who think SSRS is a the devil or something. In the future I’ll try my best to focus on specific comments rather than bunching you all together.

Let’s say they didn’t get anything good which I don’t believe, Why are they wasting time here ? I think they still secretly like Sri Sri and AOL??? Sort of love – hate relationship ? If you can separate the message from the personality, and take what you like – I say good for you. But it’s easier said than done, especially with the amount of propaganda and B.S you have to deal with. Most of the time the opposite happens – the real message gets drowned in personalities and other extraneous things, that simply are not that that important.

      @my world,

This blog and another one by someone named “Klim” do a great service explaining to people how not to get trapped in this cult, Art of Living. You may enjoy yourself there, but if you read the accounts on these blogs, you may begin to question in a healthy way all the worship of this man Ravi Shankar. I know that as a former teacher, I definitely don’t still like Art of Living or Ravi Shankar. It’s not a love -hate relationship. There is no relationship, and hasn’t been for a long long time for me. It was brief (thankfully) and I got out with my wits, unlike many of the poor souls who appear to be still trapped there after 20 years! And they even dress and talk like Ravi Shankar now, like clones! It’s very sad, and needs to be pointed out to innocent people who may throw their lives away by accident.

On a positive note: I found that the basic course had many basic and good truths, but I had heard them all elsewhere — they are found in many scriptures in east and west. They are not property of Art of Living or SSRS. Many of those basic course points are things to live by in my opinion. I think you’d find, if you bothered to read this site more closely, that many people posting here say the same things — they found some very nice things initially, but as they got close to the center of it, they found out that it was not a good place to spend time. Like most other apologists for AOL you haven’t even bothered to read the quite balanced accounts, praising initial experiences, and then truthful accounts of the ill will inside the organization and the wrong doings which are rampant. Unlike most of the posters from AOL, whose posts are rants and raves about how horrible it is that this website exists. My question would be — why come here? Those who post here are content to share their experiences with others who say “it wasn’t just you — it also happened to me this way”. If someone new comes here and sees the blogs and begins to question…..That’s their good fortune. Who are you to say that I should not share my opinions and experiences on-line? The blog police? The thought police? Why don’t you go read a blog you like better?

Yes it can be understood. It not only helps others, but also satisfies yourself, when the mind is wanting only negative things. You people have enormous knowledge hidden inside. Do something good for the people from the portion of your earnings. Then tell everybody to do those good things you did. BY SPREADING NEGATIVE THINGS, YOU CAN “SAVE FEW LIVES”. BUT BY SPREADING POSITIVE THINGS YOU “CAN REFORM MANY”. DO GOOD. LET GOD BLESS YOU. This will be my last comment on this site. Hope you people will spread positive.

Enlightenment always is a personal affair and no Sri Sri can bring that to anybody even if he is enlightened… there is nothing left to be said in the history of esoterism and self knowledge.. Patanjali has given light on the entire yogic scenario while adi sankara has worked on being absolute and buddha on being extinguished… Sufis have given enough light on the mechanism of love.. Blah blah.. Every possible way has already been explored and dealt with so that whoever needing any assistance could easily find their way.. So, why to let these holy holes Sri Sri to let run their business in the name of spirituality..?

This lawsuit business appears to have chilled the blog quite a bit. Naturally people feel afraid to post somewhere, where it could be that deep pockets AOL may come forward and sue them, gaining their identity, then proceeding to the standard blackmail harrassment tactics used by SSRS when someone leaves him, if that person has annoyed him at all: calls on the phone, threats about their “bad karma” if they speak out against Guruji, even knocks at the door, with the same threats, all delivered with sugar syrup voices, that proclaim how bad it would be to say anything ‘bad’ (read ‘truthful’) about such a highly evolved soul as Guruji, etc., etc., ad nauseum. Sadder still, is the fact (and it is a fact which I have witnessed) that people who have left, sometimes even years before, are frightened to even disclose their identities to each other for fear that that ‘other’ could be an Art of Living Mole. Art of Living can leave someone so damaged that they simply hide (not just here on the blog, as it’s essential to post anonomously to avoid the above mentioned, sick AOL & SSRS tactics of intimidation). They cease to trust even others who have left, disgusted with SSRS, having gotten too close, and seen him for what he really is. People in Art of Living are damaged souls. Some are fortunate in leaving that they simply move on. But I’ve seen those who couldn’t get work for years and years after leaving, consumed with fears and lack of confidence, having been beaten down by the organization and the ‘master’. I’ve been lucky. I was able to move on rapidly, albeit with the residual distrust of anything remotely resembling “gurudham”. But others are not as lucky, and are damaged for a long time after their exit. This lawsuit proves that Ravi Shankar and his thugs seek only to punish and hurt anyone who annoys or crosses them. They will use their considerable, ill-begotten gains to that end. Hopefully this blog remains here, and people lose their fear to post, at least anonymously, so that those reading it will be forewarned if they are not too involved with this group yet. Hopefully Ravi Shankar’s thugs will lose this lawsuit. It looks, from reading the link, that he is not even a plaintiff! He is simply directing his puppets, knowing that if he becomes a plaintiff, he will have to suffer the considerable damage that would occur should he have to appear in a courtroom, accused. Someone named Harshal has ranted on about Ramana Maharishi being critized by lunatics, etc., in his day. Here’s one huge difference that should be pointed out to this person: Ramana Maharishi appeared in court himself, without fear. He was sued. He did not sue.

I left some time ago as well. It was easy in a way, i just sorted out things for myself and quit. It did take quite a bit to finally decide and do it but then when i was emotionally detached i realized what it was all about and moved on. 22. June 29, 2011 11:46 pm

I’ve recently participated in the AOL course and wish I would’ve researched further before letting go of the $250! The kriya is actually painful and irritates my throat and lungs. I also become quite tired and melancholy post-kriya, which has been explained as the ‘cleansing’. I’m not sure how I feel about it all at this point. I’m not sure how one is supposed to rest easy in the fact that Sri Sri ‘learnt’ of the SK whilst in meditation, although this is how Reiki came about as well. And SK definitely bears great similarities to Kundalini breath-work, and just how it’s supposed to be different has never been clarified. The AOLer’s are certainly quite jazzed about getting more and more people into ‘the family’ and will sacrifice much in order to get them in to both the AOL course, as well as the other courses and events taking place round the world. Sweet, sweet, well-meaning people though, the ones I’ve met thus far.

They are not ready. They are unworthy, and stupid and foolish and blind. They are pleasure minded, and not service minded.

I am a new joiner to AOL and i have benefited from the Part I course. I have also done an advanced course which was good but it wasn’t great. So i am one of those who is like on the fence. He is happy to see positive changes in his life from part I but is wondering why Part II didnt have the same effect. Also, the positive changes can be because of changes like No caffene ( no tea), strict schedule, lesser partying ( cant really quit that can I :)), respecting elders ( this is news to even my parents), working for people (seva as they call it in AOL) etc. apart from Sudarshan Kriya…

I want to ask only one question. If people are questioning Sri Sri Ravishankar so much ( about his degrees, his money, his course benefits) then why cant they come out in open reveal their identities. I mean to me it looks like some hidden agenda if someone is hiding and criticizing.
See i am at such a stage that i can really benefit from your blog…I am right now skeptical of AOL as I didnt like my teacher forcing me to accompany them in a nearby ashram where the participants were forced ( a senior govt officer forced the entire office to do a course which everyone admitted ) but half of them found it to beneficial (specially the sutras of life)….So its a mixed reaction with AOL.

You should find a clue if you read the post at the top of this page. Also if you follow the link in the very first line, and read the section Posting Anonymously in this post, these should more than answer your question.

Truth revealed frome fake ids is False…..

Interesting point of view. So if I, posting under an anonymous alias as I happen to be, were to declare “1 + 1 = 2”, are you telling me that this statement is actually false?

        September 29, 2011 8:44 am

I can only laugh at your logic of 1+1=2.. Reminds me of Dr Zakir Naik comparing his ideology being correct as 2+2=4 hence one should not teach other idelogies in Islamic countries.
THis is not 1+1=2… here you are questioning an organisation and its practices.I being new to it want to know more about it from both ends but from credible sources. I have experienced some positives but not all claimed by them. Hence i wanted to know about the negatives but from credible sources. Not anonymous.

Mathematics and this are two different things. For eg. If the world was run on mathematics please explain why do you love your mother through mathematics. Or please explain with the help of mathematics that why does your mother love you :). I mean i am completely going by your logic. 🙂

I am asking you that why be anonymous. Come out in open and debate SRi Sri or his followers. It would be of great help to us. In one of the posts you are criticizing AOLs insistence on money and here you are asking for money to defend your criticism. My take on this is that even for good work you require money. Then why do you question AOL for asking money. Isnt it double standard.
Please do publish the records of money that people have donated and we need a full statement of its use. Can you do that.

Oh dear, here we go again … (I know, it’s my own fault, I should have seen it coming and just ignored it but, well, someday I’ll learn.)

        @Rohit,

You originally stated “Truth revealed frome fake ids is False”. The point I was trying to make is that “truth” is independent of who says it. If I say “1 + 1 = 2” or you say it or Sri Sri says it, the statment holds true (at least mathematically speaking) no matter which one of us said it.

I’m completely lost as to where I indicated that mathematics could explain my love for my mother, please can you be so kind as to enlighten me on this? 🙂

Again you asked: I am asking you that why be anonymous. – and I have already answered this yet you have
chosen to ignore it. The funny thing is that this blog seems to have done a great job of helping people without the need to expose our identities. And the only people who seem to care about our identities are those who as yet have been unable to refute the things we have said and who instead have been trying desperately hard to discredit those who have said them.

Regarding money, we aren’t questioning AoL just for asking for money, we are questioning what they are using that money for over and above what they say they use the money for. This is covered adequately across this blog, and if you are sincerely interested I will point you in the direction where you can read about this in detail.

Generally speaking, we question AoL and its practices based on our own personal experiences. From these we form opinions which we have stated throughout these blogs. Our job is not to convince people that what we are saying is true, it is to present them with our accounts and experiences and to allow them to decide for themselves whether or not they believe it is true.

If you really need to know people’s identities before you will consider what they have to say, then I’m afraid you’ve come to the wrong place. In this case rather than waste any of your time and energy here, I would sincerely recommend you simply stop reading it.

Carefully avoiding the question of you TOO requiring money. I saw it coming too but then anonymous people can write anything 🙂 The fact that you write a blog and not a personal diary means that its intent is to be read by everyone. Thanks for being so straightforward.

AOL is still strong and growing. I have my own reservations regarding it but cant chat with an anonymous person who claims what is written is his/her own experience. Again.. Truth written from fake ids are false. Come out.. reveal your identity and what you want to achieve will be much easier. Infact you will get more money ;)….

If you are unwilling to thus identify yourself, then you must be an AOL representative trying hard to sound “reasonable” (for a change — they mostly bash the people here). As to the need for money for those being sued by behemoth AOL and Ravi Shankar, use your brains! These are individuals, being hunted by this organization, who would try to silence anything they have to say, for fear of losing the argument. They perhaps don’t happen to be rich individuals. But AOL is very rich, and is spending your donation money on prosecuting (persecuting) these blogmasters. Please read the whole blog. You need not “chat” with any anonymous person. Then, go and get very very close with SSRS. Spend personal time with him. Lots of it. Travel with him. Then you can say who is lying and who is telling the truth here. Not before.

On the other hand, Ramakrishnan, it is your kind of blind faith in someone or something that creates terrorists. People in AOL blindly believe what their senior teachers and ‘Guru’ tells them, quit jobs, work for free, spend loads of money on crap they call ‘knowledge’ and destroy their own lives and others lives in the process. Terrorists believe in a flawed ideology, (mis)interpreted by some mullah and blow themselves and others. Don’t you see parallels?

Looks like all that 3x daily Rudram didn’t give you peace of mind, Demon Slayer. Again, Ravana did Rudram, did it well, got some temporary powers then was defeated by God. What will you do with all your powers? Kill me? Kill someone else? So what? What will you do? Are you enlightened? Obviously not. Pray that Lord Siva forgives your misuse of these powers. Pray that Ma Durga forgives your abuse of her children who are innocent and simply defending themselves from an abusive man and organization. Pray. Stop chanting forumulas and Pray for a change.

Not to worry, Kitapati — it will all “come out in the wash” as they say: follow the news and you’ll see that many court cases are being brought aganst Art of Living. It’s just the beginning. Intelligent people are tired of being lied to. They are tired of being scammed. They are tired of the politicians doing all these favors for so-called Swamis and God Men. It will all come to light. You watch. It’s already started.

Dude what did you learn AOL, dint you learn to accept people as they are and dont be a football of others opinion. Everybody has right of speech and it is for them to decide what is good or bad and just because they are saying what you dont like do you call them as terrorist ? and do you think your usage “muslim militants” is wise ? are you brandishing all muslims as militants ?

bottomline let people decide what is good or bad for them cos its their life to experience

So you call people as missionaries if their opinion is against your thought, then what should we call you ? can we come up with what ever we want ? but i don’t want to.
all i see is that you have your opinion and its your life to lead.do what you have to do
and every will do what they think is right for them. they are just posting their experiences
this is a public forum to express free opinions.

Sanjay, my advice is to find out for yourself. Get really deep into the organization, but with the idea that you are investigating (don’t ever tell anyone there that, or the truth will not be revealed to you). Get really close to Guruji. Get really close to some of the oldest teachers. Watch them carefully. Then decide if you really are attracted, or just impressed because it’s big, rich, famous, lots of events. If you only want to meet people your age, that can happen anyplace. If you want to do it without drinking, you can find that elsewhere too. You don’t have to go to AOL to have fun. In fact, if you get involved enough, you’ll find out the trap and find out that your life is gone, and you’ve lost your family and friends and now all you have left is Guruji and AOL and all their complaining and whining about how they have no where else to go. See for yourself. Then come back here in a year and tell everyone.

The order sstate that plaintiff shall serve its second amended trade secret disclosure on Defendants within seven (7) days of the date of this Order. The time to file has expired yesterday. Have they done so or let it lapse also?

    @ The Doctor

I’m not sure if I followed the operative part of the order correctly so I’d really appreciate it if you could explain it in simpler terms.

So far, it seems to me that AOLF (US) has been given a week (final opportunity) to prove that their “teaching methodology” qualifies as a “trade secret” as defined by US Laws.

I have arrived at this based on the following extract from the order:

“That said, the Court is sympathetic to Defendants’ frustration with Plaintiff’s protracted failure to identify its own purported trade secrets in a manner sufficient to allow discovery to proceed. Notwithstanding Plaintiff’s attempt, in its ATSD, to designate with reasonable particularity those portions of Plaintiff’s Manuals and Teaching Notes that comprise Plaintiff’s trade secrets, Plaintiff now seeks to withdraw that designation and re-designate its trade secrets, in light of new evidence not previously known to Plaintiff’s counsel that AOLF-US requires its students, in addition to its teachers, to sign confidentiality agreements. While the Court will allow Plaintiff to serve a second amended trade secret disclosure within seven (7) days of the date of this Order, the Court hereby puts Plaintiff on notice that this is its final opportunity to amend its trade secret designations with particularity.”

It also seems to me from the court order that AOLF (US) has claimed that it is not their training content which is unique but “the methodology” and this is because their teachers are trained in a unique way.

Does this mean that AOLF (US) shall now attempt to prove how their methodology for training teachers is unique?

I apologize, in advance, if my conclusions are erroneous.

What is the end result of enlightenment ?
Is it required to be vegetarian for enlightenment?

@Jr. Why are you surprised that Dr. Peter has been posting here for months, under all different names, and acting all different ways? He came her to bash the bloggers, then when the lawsuit started to fail against the blogmasters, he sweetened his tone (no doubt told to by Ravi Shankar). He’s just here to try to convert people away from reading the blog, the true experiences. He is just one more imbalanced, brainwashed AOL person willing to defend the sickening actions of Ravi Shankar and his inner circle, in order to get the “private meeting”. Dr. Peter is a big fake. Smiling on the outside and all ugly on the inside. Just like all the senior teachers. Typical. I’m not surprised to learn this at all.

I’m glad you’re relying on rational evidence. Please do read Dr. Peter’s recent posts again if possible. He is trying to sweet talk his way into manipulating readers psychologically. It’s very obvious.

Whether or not this behaviour is sanctioned by Mr. Ravi Shankar is not clear, but one thing is clear, Mr. Ravi Shankar tells members of AoL to not read this blog and to not comment on it. OA had mentioned this. And, therefore, most of them don’t. However, this doesn’t seem to apply to Dr. Peter who claims that he is an ardent devotee of his Guru. I wonder why he doesn’t follow his Guru’s instructions. Time will tell.
